Mahera is a very versatile piece of furniture. It stimulates the creativity of the architects,
interior designers and also of its owner, to use it in many different and personal ways.
It can be used as a console at the entrance or in the living area as a coffee table, television cabinet or bench. It is completely made of solid wood and it sums up the “Amitraniphilosophy”, namely that to put together new technologies and handicraft, giving wood new and unusual shapes. Its name comes from a traditional Malaysian boat which is built out of the log of a tree, with which it shares the same soft and seductive shapes.

Prende il nome da una tradizionale imbarcazione malese, prodotta scavando il tronco di un albero, con la quale ha in comune le stesse forme morbide e seducenti.
